On the FIRST TUESDAY OF EVERY MONTH, the HKWC has a reading group. These are held at either Varga Lounge (36 Staunton Street) or Culture Club (15 Elgin Street) in SoHO from 7.30pm till late. The idea is that you bring along a piece, read it to an empathetic audience of fellow members, and they will offer friendly and constructive criticism. You should read for no more than four or five minutes. If you’d like feedback on a longer piece, print it out and leave some copies – but you must be prepared to take some if yours are taken!
